All Creatures Great and Small is back with a brand new season. Fan-favorite character Tristan will be making a return, much to the delight of fans who missed his presence in the previous season.
Callum Woodhouse, who plays Tristan, said, “It was always the plan to come back, and historically, Tristan did go away to war for a while, and he did come back. But yes, it was really nice to take the time away to do other projects and then come back home to my family really. It was slightly daunting in the sense of, ‘Is it going to feel weird? Am I going to feel a bit out of the loop?' but my first day back was a full day in the in The Drovers, which is probably the best place to film Tristan’s first scenes back.”

Plot
In Spring 1941, Darrowby, Baby Jimmy has everyone on their feet at Skeldale House. Helen is getting used to being a mom while James is away at RAF Abingdon. Mrs. Hall and Siegfried are happy to have a little one around, and Carmody is now part of the Skeldale family. With World War II in full swing, Siegfried is taking on more work at the surgery. Mrs. Hall and Helen are thinking about how they can help in the community, and Carmody is ready to step up. Siegfried is excited to have everyone back, but Tristan's unexpected return won't be as simple as he hoped.
