What do we know About the Upcoming Crossover?

During the Abbott Elementary panel at San Diego Comic-Con in July, Brunson teased an exciting crossover for the upcoming season, saying, “We will be doing an interesting crossover this season. I’m not gonna tell you with who, or with what, or where, or when, but it’s really exciting and I think it’ll change television as we know it.”

Later that month, Brunson shared more about what viewers can expect, emphasizing the importance of keeping the show's integrity. “Those things are what reinvigorate TV viewers and I think it’s always fun to find ways to re-engage our audiences,” she told Variety. “With Abbott, we have to protect the show since it’s a mockumentary, but we also want to find a way to do something cool. It makes me really, really happy. It’s just like an ode to the medium.”

Walter jokingly mentioned that HBO’s House of the Dragon was Brunson’s top choice, prompting fans to speculate about other potential shows for the crossover, including Grey’s Anatomy, The Bear, The Bachelorette, 9-1-1, Euphoria, and more.
