Woman of the Hour narrates the unbelievable story of a promising actor in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer who was on a years-long murder spree. Their lives intersected when they both featured on an episode of The Dating Game.

Anna Kendrick, who also stars in the movie, makes her directorial debut with Woman of the Hour. In an interview, she said that directing left her “feeling as terrified as I've ever been about, frankly, anything.”

“I think there was something about the movie overall that I found compelling,” she said, adding, “I was aware that while I liked the character, I was way more interested in the movie as a whole.” Speaking about the impact and message of the movie, she said, “…more often than not, there is nothing you can do, no matter how smart you are, no matter how careful you are, to protect yourself from someone who wishes to harm you. I was thinking about how even very subtle victim-blaming is baked into our culture. Even the most well-meaning people will say things like, ‘Yeah, you really just got to pay attention to those early red flags,' which is not a nightmare of a thing to say, but man, woof.”

In this article, we will tell you where and when you can watch Woman of the Hour online from the comfort of your home. We will also discuss the plot and cast, give you the teaser trailer, and more information about the team behind the magic. Plot

In 1978, a man named Rodney Alcala, who had already killed five women, appeared on The Dating Game and won a date with contestant Cheryl Bradshaw. His strange behavior on the show earned him the nickname “The Dating Game Killer.”

Alcala went on a murder spree, seducing women by posing as a photographer who was looking for models. He was already a registered sex offender and newly released from jail; however, he still appeared on The Dating Game, which was a TV show where a woman asked three hidden bachelors questions before picking one to go on a totally free trip with her.

According to Tudum, the film zeroes in “on Alcala’s victims and the lives he cut short.”
