HOW TO INSTALL TREPIDATION TV ADDON ON KODI

The first thing you want to do is allow the Unknown Sources so that you may install third-party addons like Trepidation for Kodi. It requires a quick tweak to the security settings. But, do not be alarmed as it will not make your device vulnerable. Trepidation for Kodi is a trusted addon used by thousands. Here is what we will change:

#1. Click the gear icon for Settings menu on the top left of the Kodi home-screen. The Settings icon is just under the Kodi logo

#2. Now click ‘System Settings’ and navigate to Add-ons submenu item on the left sidebar/panel

• STEP 2: Install Tantrum TV Repository
• STEP 3: Install Trepidation addon on Kodi from Tantrum TV repository

STEP 1: Add the Source to Kodi

In this part, we need to add the source URL to Kodi so that we may install the desired repository in the next part. Follow the steps below:

#1. Click the ‘Settings’ menu by clicking the cog/gear icon on the top-left of the Kodi home screen

#2. Now click the ‘File Manager’ icon on the window that opens next

#3. You will now see a list. Click ‘Add source’ on this list. You may have to scroll down a bit if you have already added some sources.

#4. A sub-window will pop up with the title ‘Add file source’. Click ‘’ in this window (see image below)

#5. Now enter the URL repo.tantrumtv.com/download and click the OK button

Note: Enter the source URL exactly as I have shared. Typos will result in installation issues and hence many hassles.

#6. Now enter the name of the source in the ‘Enter a name for this media source’ field. There is no restriction on what name you can choose. But, it is advisable to give it the name you can identify with later. We will need it.

In this guide, we add the source name as ‘TantrumTV’

Once that’s done, click ‘OK’

You have successfully added the source. Let’s move to the next part.

STEP 2: Install the Tantrum TV Repository

We will now install the Tantrum TV repository from the source we just added. Later, we will install Trepidation addon for Kodi through this repo.

#1. Now go back to the Kodi home screen and click ‘Add-ons’ on the left sidebar or panel

#2. On the subsequent screen, click the ‘Package Installer’ icon. This icon is on the top-left corner of the screen. It resembles an open box image. It may also look like the Dropbox icon.

#3. Click the ‘Install form zip file’ option

#4. Now you will see another pop-up. Click ‘TantrumTV’ (or the name that you entered earlier while adding the source) on this window.

#5. On the next window click the zip file named ‘repository.tantrumtv-1.2.2.zip‘

Please keep in mind that the file name may change/update if an updated version of the repository is released. The numbers 1.2.2 in the zip file represent the current version.

#6. Now, wait for the ‘Tantrum.TV Repository Add-on installed’ notification. It will appear on the top right (image below)

Well, you have successfully added the Tantrum TV repository. We will now learn to install Trepidation video addon for Kodi using this repo.

STEP 3: Install Trepidation Kodi Addon

#1. Click ‘Install from repository’ option (just above ‘Install from zip file)

#2. Now click the Tantrum.TV Repository from the list of the installed repositories on your Kodi

#3. Click ‘Video add-ons’ option

#4. Scroll down and click ‘Trepidation’

#5. Click ‘Install’. This button is on the bottom right of the window

This will start installing the Trepidation addon on Kodi. It may take 2-3 minutes for the process to complete. You will see the download progress on the screen next to ‘Trepidation’ item on the list.

Once the installation is complete, ‘Trepidation Add-on installed’ notification will appear on the top-right of the Kodi screen.

This simply means that Trepidation Kodi addon has been installed.
