This guide will show you how to install Exodus Kodi Addon on Kodi 17.6 Krypton. The steps given in this tutorial works for Kodi on PC as well as Fire TV Stick. Before we start, let me tell you that Exodus is a third-party Kodi Addon and you can’t ask Kodi developers for the support.
Exodus is one of the best Kodi Addons for Kodi users who love watching movies, TV Shows, Anime, Documentary, and Sports. It allows you to filter the shows based on different Genres.
For those who are not aware, Exodus is a big name in the Kodi community. The addon was initially made available via TVAddons Indigo tool but it disappeared due to the unfortunate shutdown of TVAddons. Thanks to Kodil Repo, we got an updated replacement for older Exodus Kodi Addon which is now working completely fine as of this writing.

How to Install Exodus on Kodi 17.6 Krypton (FireStick / PC)
Now that you know Exodus is still working, let’s get on with the steps to install Exodus Kodi Addon on your PC/Fire TV Stick. I have performed these steps on Kodi 17.6 Krypton. If you are running a lower version, you can update Kodi to the latest version.
Note: If this is the first time you are installing a third-party Kodi Addon, I am sure “Apps from Unknown Sources” is disabled on your Kodi app. We must Turn it ON in order to download and install Kodi Add-ons that are not coming from official Kodi developers. You can do so by heading to Settings > System Settings > Add-ons > Apps from Unknown Sources.
Before you install Exodus on Kodi, I would like to warn you that everything you stream with Kodi will be visible to your ISP and Government. This means, streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, Sports) might get you into legal trouble.
Thanks to Kodi VPN, you can hide all your streaming activities from ISPs and Government. A VPN for Kodi will bypass ISP throttling, Government Surveillance, and geo-restriction on popular Add-ons.
I personally use ExpressVPN which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is Kodi friendly and works with all the devices including PCs, smartphones, and Fire TV Stick.
We never promote or encourage copyright infringements. But, we don’t want you to end up in the legal hassles either. Furthermore, we believe in the right to privacy and are its strong proponent.
You can get ExpressVPN HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Means, you can test it freely for first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for the full refund.
After activating ExpressVPN on your device, you are safe to install and use Exodus on Kodi. Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Launch Kodi App on your Fire TV Stick or PC. FireStick users can navigate to Kodi app by heading to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Kodi.
Step 2: Click Settings gear icon on top-left of your screen.
Step 3: Open “File Manager” and then click “Add Source”
Step 4: Replace “None” with this URL – kdil.co/repo/ and type “Kodil” in the name field. Now click OK.
Step 5: Go back to home screen of Kodi app. Click “Add-ons” on the left-sidebar and then open “Package Installer” on the top-left of your screen.
Step 6: Open “Install from Zip File” and click “Kodil”
Step 7: Click “kodil.zip” to install Kodil Repo.
Step 8: Wait for the success notification on top-right of the display. Once you get the notification “www.kodiisrael.co.il Repo Add-on installed,” you are good to go with next step.
Step 9: Click “Install from Repository” and select “..Kodil Repository”
Step 10: Open “Video Add-ons” folder.
Step 11: You will see tons of Kodi Add-ons on your screen. The good thing is that the list is alphabetically so you can simply scroll down to alphabet “E” and then locate “Exodus.”
Step 12: Open Exodus and then click “Install”
Step 13: Wait for Exodus Kodi Addon to download and install from Kodil Repository. Once you get success notification on the top-right of your display, you are done with the installation process.

Exodus Not Working/ Streaming
If you are here to fix the Exodus problems that are mainly related to no stream available for movies / TV shows. I suggest you reinstall Exodus using the steps above. If you are using the older Exodus Addon that was available through TVAddons, it won’t stream due to shut down of TVAddons. The only way to get it working is that you install it fresh using Kodil Repo as described above.
If you are still facing any errors after reinstalling new Exodus Addon using the method I shared above, you can always share the issues in the comments below.

Exodus Kodi Addon: FAQs
We keep receiving several questions about Exodus since its shut down. I have answered a couple of frequently asked questions below.
Why Exodus Kodi Addon Disappeared?
As I mentioned before, this Addon was originally available via TVAddons which got shut down last year. However, it is now available via Kodil Repo and working fine on PC as well as Fire TV Stick.
Why Exodus Won’t Install on Kodi?
Exodus Kodi Addon won’t install if you follow the old method that is using TVAddons. I suggest you follow the steps I mentioned in this guide and download Exodus using Kodil Repo. It should install and work without any errors.
Why Is Exodus Slow?
I haven’t faced any slowness or buffering on new Exodus Addon yet. However, if it is working slow / buffering for you, it could possibly be due to your Internet speed. There are reports that ISPs are throttling speed for Kodi users. The best way to bypass ISP radar is getting a good Kodi VPN. It will not only allow you to stream smoothly but will also protect you from Government surveillance, hackers, DMCA notices, etc. You can also use Real-Debrid on Kodi which provides several new HD streams.
How to Install Exodus on Kodi Jarvis?
There is a no different way to install Exodus on Jarvis or Krypton. The method I outlined in this guide works for both Kodi Jarvis and Krypton. If you get any errors while installing Exodus, you can comment below and I will help you out.
Is VPN mandatory to use Exodus on Kodi?
NO, Exodus works fine without a VPN. However, it is strongly recommended to use a VPN for Kodi when streaming with third-party Add-ons. A VPN hides your IP and keeps your online activities anonymous. Your ISP and Government will not be able to track your online streaming activities that mean no risk of legal notices and speed throttling.
