When was the last time you bought a webcam? Logitech released Today the new C922 Stream Webcam, which records in HD 1080p or 720p at 60fps video. It even comes with a tripod!

Logitech C922 unique feature is its background replacement feature. It recognises shapes to separate players from their background, so gamers can then overlay video of themselves streaming with other broadcasting apps, like XSplit & OBS.

Every webcam purchase comes with a three-month XSplit Premium license, which includes access to the tools and features of XSplit Broadcaster and XSplit Gamecaster.

I did do a test with XSplit and OBS Studio and I liked the OBS Studio allot more Since it came as a plug and play for the camera.

XSplit also came as a plug and record/stream but the fact that XSplit is monthly payment might not be as appealing to everyone, especially not me since I can do the same with OBS Studio.

OBS Classic did not fear well with me on this camera I needed to do some extra settings to make it work with the background replacement.
