Hosted by LeVar Burton (Reading Rainbow, Roots), this new adaptation of the classic board game “Trivial Pursuit” features players competing in three rounds of trivia across six iconic categories for a chance to win $20,000.
Burton expressed excitement about partnering with Hasbro and eOne to turn the iconic game into a premium television experience.
Originally launched in 1981, Trivial Pursuit has sold over 100 million copies and has become a cultural phenomenon. The CW’s “reimagined” version stays true to its roots, featuring an oversized version of the classic game board with giant wedges, adding a fresh dynamic to the show.
