The wait is nearly over! What We Do in the Shadows returns for its much-anticipated sixth and final season, promising more chaotic adventures with our favorite vampire roommates.
Based on the 2014 film, this mockumentary series has carved out its identity thanks to its brilliant cast and side-splitting humor. Fans have eagerly followed the Staten Island-based vampires Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, Colin Robinson, and their familiar Guillermo as they’ve stumbled through centuries of mishaps, from ancient rivalries to modern-day Staten Island.
Season five concluded in August 2023, leaving Guillermo facing the consequences of his brief stint as a vampire, ultimately realizing he didn’t want that life. As the series prepares for its final chapter, questions loom about how Guillermo and the rest of the gang will handle their unfinished business in the supernatural world.
Recently, a trailer for season six dropped, teasing more absurd twists, including a long-forgotten roommate waking from a 50-year nap and shaking things up. It’s safe to say the stakes are higher, and the laughs will be bigger as the vampires reassess their ambitions—or lack thereof—after centuries of minimal progress.
