Plot

Filming for Caddo Lake began on Oct. 4, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisianaand wrapped on November 18, 2021. Additional scenes were shot in and around Karnak, Texasduring late 2021 and into 2022.

Caddo Lake is an upcoming American thriller written and directed by Celine Held and Logan George, the filmmaking duo behind Topside. The film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan under his Blinding Edge Pictures banner, alongside producers Ashwin Rajan, Kara Durrett, and Josh Godfrey. Shyamalan, known for his signature twist-ending films like The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs, praised Held and George for their work on season three of his series Servant.

Caddo Lake's executive producers include Kimberly Steward, Harrison Huffman, and Will Greenfield. Shyamalan, fresh off the success of his thriller Trap starring Josh Hartnett, continues to expand his impact on the thriller genre through both his own films and by championing new talents like Held and George.

Shyamalan's multi-year deal with Warner Bros. has allowed him to support new voices in filmmaking, and he described Held and George as “kind and dynamic genre storytellers” with a film that will deeply impact audiences. Held and George, who have also directed episodes of Servant and Modern Love, made their feature directorial debut with Topside, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
